About
I have feet in two worlds that better each other. My wedding photography sharpens my ability to capture life. My longtime commercial photography work keeps me abreast of trends and techniques but also makes me able to execute someone’s vision or idea. The enhanced perspective offered by each impresses on me the importance of an image being dually creative and classic.
Method
Through the initial meeting, enjoying the engagement shoot, and having on-going discussions about what is important to you about your day --- I get a sense of your personalities and what needs to be remembered about this moment in time.
First and foremost this is lifestyle photography, capturing life. Expect to see a documentary-type approach of how the guests and bridal party reacted to the celebration’s planned and impromptu events.
I also shoot vignettes of the day’s details, a close up of a veil or a boutonniere - so much time and energy goes into those small moments. Also, I plan time with just the couple. It all goes into creating classic images savoring the essence of what you experience.
